Working with Nike as a creative partner since 2004, Character has developed packaging, collateral material, channel marketing campaigns, in-store and event graphics for the US and Asia Pacific NikeWomen Brands.

Restoration Hardware is one of the leading purveyors of premium home furnishings. In 2007, Character partnered with Restoration Hardware to rebrand the company. Starting with the mail order catalog, which Character art directed and designed, the partnership has extended to Restoration Hardware’s in-store signage, collateral and website.

Character designed the brand identity system for Android, a company that develops a complete set of software for mobile devices — operating system, middleware and key mobile applications.

As Kohler’s creative partner, Character was tasked with taking the brand’s notions of craftsmanship and quality, of family roots and company heritage, and creating a modern context for carrying the name forward. The challenge was repositioning the well-established brand as more than just a company that creates dependable bath products but create relevancy for a new generation of home-buyers.

Character designed a one-of-a-kind skateboard deck as part of San Francisco AIGA’s Fall Gala, entitled “Hung Up.” AIGA San Francisco invited local artists and designers to contribute custom skate decks, which were auctioned off at the end of the gala.
